JCU Mariners RUFC is a successful University-based Rugby club in scenic Tropical North Queensland. We have a brief yet proud tradition of success, and also embrace the Spirit of Rugby- especially the social aspects of Club Rugby.

We are proudly supported by James Cook University- Cairns (Smithfield) and train there on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our home games for 2010 are played at James Cook University Oval, a short walk from the University.
